In Tarkhnishvili et al. 2026 the only gecko on the checklist is the Caspian gecko (Tenuidactylus caspius). Harmless in the atlas.
Why
A gecko climbs vertical surfaces and hides in cracks. A house is often warmth and insects, not an attack.

By day it hides in cracks; after dusk it shows on walls. A vertical pupil belongs with night and twilight activity.

The natural range is the extreme south-east. Urban populations are named, including the Black Sea coast. Barcodes are from Tbilisi and the Samukhi plain; the figure is Dedoplistskaro.
