Each profile combines taxonomic identity, Georgia-relevant habitat and behavior, conservation status, identification traits, and FAQs.
Scientific review
Accounts are reviewed as new literature and Red List changes appear. Field corrections are welcomed and checked against published sources.
Cited sources
Primary references include IUCN Red List assessments, GBIF occurrence data, the Reptile Database, and peer-reviewed papers linked on each species page.
Photography
Images are selected for identification value and field context. Credits appear on species pages when photographer attribution is available.
